Ekstremne vru\u0107ine vi\u0161e nisu rijetkost ni daleka budu\u0107nost. Prema Me\u0111unarodnoj organizaciji rada (ILO) vi\u0161e od 70 % globalne radne snage danas je izlo\u017eeno riziku od ozljeda ili smrti zbog toplinskog stresa. Me\u0111u radnicima najugro\u017eeniji su migranti, neformalni radnici, trudnice, osobe starije dobi, oni s kroni\u010dnim bolestima te osobe s invaliditetom. Brojke vi\u0161e nisu samo statistika \u2013 one postaju poslovni izazov i regulatorni zahtjev, ali prije svega moralna odgovornost.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"11\" height=\"10\" src=\"https:\/\/spring-shift.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/bullet_red.png\" alt=\"\"><br><strong>Kad te budu\u0107nost pretekne<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Prije nekoliko godina prvi put sam osjetila klimatsku anksioznost. Mislila sam da sam imuna \u2013 \u010dovjek se navikne na sve gore izvje\u0161taje, sve crnje brojke, probijene planetarne granice. Ali kad te budu\u0107nost prestigne, ne\u0161to pukne. Danima smo bili pod toplinskom kupolom, restrikcija vode na snazi, priroda potpuno \u017euta i suha, kao da \u0107e planuti samo zbog krivog pogleda. Dim velikog po\u017eara u slovenskom kr\u0161u stigao je i do nas. Gorjelo je i u Dalmaciji, gorjelo je u Istri. Na <em>flight-radaru<\/em> nikad tako prometno \u2013 svi prate kanadere. No\u0107ima nisam spavala. \u0160to od topline, \u0161to od naglog bu\u0111enja kako bi s krovne terase skenirala horizont \u2013 ima li gdje po\u017eara? U toj sparnoj ti\u0161ini, druga\u010dijoj od bilo koje ranije ti\u0161ine, postalo mi je jasno: pre\u0161li smo na drugu stranu. Sve \u010de\u0161\u0107e i du\u017ee toplinske valove i tropske no\u0107i sve te\u017ee ignoriraju i najtvrdokorniji klimatski skeptici. Prosje\u010dan broj dana s jakim toplinskim stresom u mediteranskoj regiji popeo se s 29 (referenca 1991.\u20132020.) na \u010dak <a href=\"https:\/\/www.france24.com\/en\/live-news\/20250513-urban-temps-turning-cities-into-ovens-un-chief-heat-officer-warns\">66 dana u ljetu 2024. godine<\/a>. Mnogi gradovi na Mediteranu bilje\u017ee temperature i iznad 45\u00b0C, a toplinski indeks, koji kombinira vlagu i temperaturu, \u010desto prelazi razine opasne po zdravlje. Smrtnost povezana s toplinskim valovima je u porastu, a toplina godi\u0161nje odnese vi\u0161e od 175.000 \u017eivota u Europskoj regiji Svjetske zdravstvene organizacije <a href=\"https:\/\/www.who.int\/europe\/news\/item\/01-08-2024-statement--heat-claims-more-than-175-000-lives-annually-in-the-who-european-region--with-numbers-set-to-soar\">(WHO).<\/a> Ve\u0107 je sad jasno da se moramo prilagoditi na bar +1.5 topliji svijet (a vjerojatnije jo\u0161 topliji). Dakle, sve ja\u010di i du\u017ei toplinski valovi ovdje su da bi ostali, a mi da bi se (eventualno) prilagodili.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-left\"><mark style=\"background-color:var(--ast-global-color-8)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-ast-global-color-2-color\"><mark style=\"background-color:var(--ast-global-color-8)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-ast-global-color-2-color\">&#8220;Kad toplina do\u0111e, ona je nevidljiva. Ne savija grane drve\u0107a niti raznosi kosu po licu da bi vam dala do znanja da je stigla. Tlo se ne trese. Samo vas obavija i djeluje na vas na na\u010dine koje ne mo\u017eete predvidjeti niti kontrolirati. Znojite se. Srce vam ubrzano lupa. \u017dedni ste. Vid vam se muti. Sunce djeluje kao cijev pi\u0161tolja uperena ravno u vas.&#8221;<\/mark> <\/mark><br><mark style=\"background-color:var(--ast-global-color-8)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-ast-global-color-2-color\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.goodreads.com\/book\/show\/63251778-the-heat-will-kill-you-first\">(Jeff Goodell, The Heat Will Kill You First: Life and Death on a Scorched Planet)<\/a><\/mark><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"11\" height=\"10\" src=\"https:\/\/spring-shift.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/bullet_red.png\" alt=\"\"><br><strong>Toplinski valovi, smanjena produktivnost, ozljede na radu<\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Prekomjerna vru\u0107ina doslovno hakira na\u0161e tijelo i um. Kako temperatura raste tako <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/us-news\/2025\/may\/26\/extreme-heat-summer-weather-forecast\">lo\u0161ije razmi\u0161ljamo, sporije reagiramo, vi\u0161e grije\u0161imo<\/a>. Svaki dio na\u0161eg tijela osje\u0107a posljedice. Time se pove\u0107ava broj pogre\u0161aka i raste broj ozljeda na radu. Me\u0111unarodna organizacija rada <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ilo.org\/sites\/default\/files\/2024-07\/ILO_OSH_Heatstress-R16.pdf\">(ILO)<\/a> procjenjuje da toplinski stres na poslu uzrokuje oko 23 milijuna ozljeda i gotovo 19 tisu\u0107a smrtnih slu\u010dajeva godi\u0161nje. U Europi i srednjoj Aziji rizik za radnike od ekstremne vru\u0107ine raste br\u017ee nego bilo gdje drugdje u svijetu \u2013 porastao je za vi\u0161e od 17 % od 2020. godine. Ameri\u010dki Nacionalni institut za sigurnost i zdravlje <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/niosh\/topics\/heatstress\/default.html\"> (NIOSH) <\/a>navodi da su radnici stariji od 65 godina, osobe s prekomjernom tjelesnom te\u017einom, sr\u010danim bolestima ili visokim krvnim tlakom izlo\u017eeni ve\u0107em riziku od posljedica ekstremne vru\u0107ine. Kad tome pridodamo \u010dinjenicu da je Hrvatska me\u0111u \u0161est zemalja Europske unije s najstarijim stanovni\u0161tvom i da se procjenjuje kako \u0107e do 2050. svaki tre\u0107i stanovnik imati vi\u0161e od 65 godina, jasno je da situacija postaje slo\u017eenija.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-left\"><mark style=\"background-color:var(--ast-global-color-8)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-ast-global-color-2-color\">Toplinski stres mo\u017ee uzrokovati stanja poput toplinske iscrpljenosti, toplinskog udara pa \u010dak i smrti. Dugoro\u010dno, radnici mogu razviti ozbiljne kroni\u010dne bolesti koje poga\u0111aju kardiovaskularni i respiratorni sustav, kao i bubrege. Na razini gradova, nu\u017eno je planiranje i prilagodba infrastrukture, prostora i \u017eivota za ekstreme, razvoj zelene i plave infrastrukture, ozelenjivanje povr\u0161ina, dono\u0161enje akcijskih planova. Na razini dr\u017eave, va\u017ena je uloga zakonodavnog okvira i reguliranje rada na ekstremnim temperaturama, aktivni sustavi ranog upozoravanja, podizanje svijesti i poticaji za prilagodbu kroz jasne smjernice i alate. No i poslodavci moraju brzo reagirati te prepoznati ekstremnu toplinu \u2013 ne samo kao operativni izazov i poslovni rizik ve\u0107 i kao dru\u0161tvenu odgovornost. U nastavku konkretne smjernice za kompanije kako bi za\u0161titile svoje zaposlenike te proaktivno reagirale na sve toplije radno okru\u017eenje.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><br><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-ast-global-color-5-color\">1. Procijenite rizike i uklju\u010dite radnike<\/mark><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Prvi korak je prepoznati gdje ste ranjivi. Identificirajte koji su poslovi i radni zadaci kriti\u010dni te koje skupine radnika su ranjivije (npr. oni koji rade u zahtjevnijim fizi\u010dkim uvjetima, stariji, bolesni, radnici s manje iskustva, trudnice, \u017eene u menopauzi i dr.). Uklju\u010dite radnike kroz ankete i razgovore kako biste saznali s kojim se izazovima susre\u0107u, koliko su informirani i \u0161to im je potrebno za osje\u0107aj sigurnosti. Educirajte i informirajte svoje zaposlenike<\/mark><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Podizanje svijesti o toplinskom stresu klju\u010dan je dio preventivnog djelovanja. Zaposlenici moraju znati \u0161to je toplinski stres, kako prepoznati rane simptome (vrtoglavica, umor, mu\u010dnina), te \u0161to u\u010diniti u slu\u010daju sumnje na toplinski udar. Informacije moraju biti pristupa\u010dne i lako razumljive \u2013 putem internih digitalnih kanala, plakata u radnim prostorima, kratkih videa, infografika i drugo. Pratite sustav upozorenja <a href=\"https:\/\/meteo.hr\/prognoze.php?section=prognoze_specp&amp;param=toplinskival_5\">DHMZ-a<\/a> i komunicirajte u stvarnom vremenu kad se pribli\u017eava toplinski val. Prilagodite uvjete rada<\/mark><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Osigurajte zaposlenicima hladne prostore za odmor, stalnu dostavu vode i izotoni\u010dne napitke. Instalirajte rashladne jedinice, ventilatore ili raspr\u0161iva\u010de vode tamo gdje je veliki toplinski stres, poput skladi\u0161ta, hala ili gradili\u0161ta. Nabavite adekvatnu za\u0161titnu opremu &#8211; npr. standardna gra\u0111evinska za\u0161titna oprema (kao \u0161to su kacige, rukavice, radna odijela) mo\u017ee dodatno zagrijavati tijelo, stoga neke tvrtke uvode novitete kao \u0161to su <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wired.com\/story\/cooling-vests-ice-heat-waves\/\"><em>hla\u0111eni prsluci<\/em>.<\/a> Uvedite \u010de\u0161\u0107e obavezne pauze i osigurajte pristup klimatiziranim prostorima.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><br><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-ast-global-color-5-color\">4. <strong>Uvedite fleksibilne radne modele<\/strong><\/mark><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Razmislite o skra\u0107ivanju i\/ili pomicanju radnog vremena te radu od ku\u0107e kad temperatura naraste. Neka ljetna fleksibilnost postane standard. U Spring+shiftu smo ove godine uveli rad s bilo koje lokacije u razdoblju od 15.07. do 30.08. Pripremite se i na zakonodavne promjene &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.healthplanspain.com\/blog\/spain-news\/1798-spain-to-ban-outdoor-work-during-extreme-heat.html#:~:text=The%20ban%20will%20be%20enforced%20when%20Spain%27s%20meteorological,work%20such%20as%20street%20cleaning%2C%20agriculture%2C%20and%20construction.\">\u0160panjolska<\/a> planira uvo\u0111enje zabrane rada na otvorenom za trajanja slu\u017ebenih crvenih i naran\u010dastih meteoalarma za vru\u0107inu, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbesmiddleeast.com\/sustainability\/climate-change\/europe-battles-record-breaking-heatwave-as-italy-bans-outdoor-work-and-france-closes-schools\">Italija<\/a> je ve\u0107 ove godine zabranila rad na otvorenom tijekom najtoplijih sati (takve prakse o\u010dekuju se i u ostatku EU). Jesmo li spremni za uvo\u0111enje toplinskih dopusta?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-ast-global-color-5-color\"><br><strong>5. <strong><strong>Ubla\u017eit<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong>e pravila odijevanja<\/mark><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>I uredski radnici trpe posljedice vru\u0107ina \u2013 osobito ako su vezani uz strogi <em>dresscode<\/em>. Opu\u0161tenija odje\u0107a tijekom toplinskih valova jednostavna je, ali u\u010dinkovita mjera \u2013 zdravlje je va\u017enije od kravate. U Japanu se to poti\u010de kroz <a href=\"https:\/\/knowledgelibrary.ifma.org\/cool-biz-energy-conservation-efforts-in-japan\/\">Cool Biz<\/a> kampanju jo\u0161 od 2005. godine \u2013 di\u017eemo klimu na 28\u00b0C kako bismo smanjili potro\u0161nju energije, ali mo\u017eete odbaciti kravate i odjela.
